Casey's Rewards is free, and 250 points buys 5¢ off a gallon on up to 20 gallons. You earn 10 points for every dollar spent in the store and 5 points for every gallon you pump.
Work that through and the shape of the program becomes clear. Buying gas alone earns 5 points a gallon, so 50 gallons gets you 250 points, which is worth $1.00 off a 20-gallon fill. That is about 2¢ a gallon from fuel alone. The pizza counter is where the points actually come from.

How to stack it
Inside the program, the redemptions compete rather than combine. Casey's publishes that "250 points is equal to $1 Casey's Cash, 5¢/gal fuel discount (maximum 20 gallons), or a $1 donation to your local school of choice." One balance, three exits. Spending points on a free pizza is spending them instead of on fuel.
Notice what that means for value: 250 points is worth $1 as Casey's Cash, and worth $1 at the pump only if you pump the full 20 gallons. Pump 10 gallons and those same points are worth 50¢. If your tank is small, Casey's Cash is the better redemption.
We could not retrieve Casey's terms page on credit cards or cashback apps, so whether anything stacks on the fuel discount is unknown.
Watch-outs
Two different expiry clocks. Points "generally don't expire," but all points are forfeited if a year passes with no Casey's Rewards purchase. Once you redeem, though, the reward itself (Casey's Cash or a fuel discount) expires after 30 days. Redeem when you are about to use it, not when you hit the threshold.

A note on our sources. Casey's own site blocks non-browser readers. The figures above come from Casey's own blog, a post updated in October 2022 and still live under a 2026 copyright. We cross-checked them against The Points Guy from June 2026, which reports the same 5 points per gallon, the same 250-points-to-5¢ ladder, and the same 20-gallon cap. The two agree, but neither is fresh from caseys.com today.
