GetGo Gas Discount: myPerks and myPerks Pay Direct

GetGo's myPerks is free, and the perks you earn at Giant Eagle, Market District and GetGo convert into cents off fuel at GetGo pumps — reportedly 10¢ a gallon per 100 perks, with deeper everyday discounts for bank-linked myPerks Pay Direct members. Read "reportedly" as a real caveat: GetGo publishes none of these numbers in a form anyone can read.

A warning before any number below. Neither getgocafe.com nor gianteagle.com serves its loyalty terms in a form we can read — both are built entirely in the browser. Every figure on this page comes from two trade outlets, Progressive Grocer and C-Store Dive, plus CSP Daily News on the Indiana program — not from a chain page. Of those three, only the C-Store Dive piece would load for us on 22 September 2026, and it is dated 30 June 2023. Check the app for what your own balance is worth.

What GetGo itself says

Without figures, GetGo's app copy confirms the shape of the program: "Fuel up for less when you redeem perks. And earn more perks every time you pump gas or purchase something in-store." And on the payment tier: "Sign up for myPerks Pay Direct and pump with the confidence that you're getting our best price."

Giant Eagle's own sale-completion release confirms both halves survive the ownership change — customers "continue to earn and redeem rewards across Giant Eagle and GetGo locations," and those "enrolled in the myPerks Pay Direct and AdvantagePAY programs will continue to benefit from instant fuel discounts at GetGo."

The reported numbers

All of the following is secondary and unverified. The first three come from Progressive Grocer, which refused our reader on 22 September 2026, so we cannot date it for you:

• 1 perk per $1 spent at Giant Eagle, Market District and GetGo.
• 100 perks redeems for either 2% off groceries or 10¢ a gallon off fuel, stackable up to 30 gallons.
• Perks lapse after roughly a year of non-use, expiring at the end of the next full calendar month after a full year.

The everyday discount on the payment tier has a better source. C-Store Dive, 30 June 2023 reports "everyday 30-cent discounts" for myPerks Pay Direct and AdvantagePay members, alongside a July 4 promotion that set regular at a flat $2.75 a gallon for those members. Three years is a long time for a cents-off figure to stand still, so treat 30¢ as a ceiling that was once real rather than today's rate.

Indiana runs a different program

GetGo's Indiana stores are on perks+, the successor to the retired fuelperks+ — a change CSP Daily News covered at the time. perks+ is reported to run at a different rate: 10¢ a gallon off for every 50 perks, up to a free tank, and 2% off groceries per 50 perks up to 20% off an order. That CSP page also refused our reader on 22 September 2026, so the rates are unverified and undated.

How to sign up

Free. myPerks needs a Giant Eagle Advantage Card or myPerks account, scanned or keyed at the pump or in store, or the GetGo or Giant Eagle app.

myPerks Pay Direct and AdvantagePay require a separate free enrollment that links a bank account. The myPerks Pay Rewards Visa is a credit card application through FNBO, subject to approval.

How to stack it

No GetGo page we checked states how a perk redemption and a Pay Direct discount combine on a single transaction. The two are described as coexisting, which is not the same as adding up.

A card cannot ride along on the deepest discounts. Those are gated to GetGo's own bank rail or its own co-brand card, so a third-party fuel rewards card generally cannot earn on the same discounted fill. Nothing is published about cashback apps.

Watch-outs

GetGo changed hands. Giant Eagle sold GetGo to Alimentation Couche-Tard for about $1.57 billion, closing 29 June 2025 after FTC clearance. GetGo runs as a separate business unit, and myPerks continues under a Giant Eagle and Couche-Tard partnership. Terms may move as that integration proceeds.

Where it works. Couche-Tard's June 2025 release describes GetGo as "270 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana." Pennsylvania is the largest concentration.

Member price vs. the sign price

GetGo markets myPerks Pay Direct as "our best price," and Giant Eagle calls the Pay Direct and AdvantagePay benefit an "instant fuel discount." That reads as a payment-gated discount applied at authorization, not a different posted price. No member-only sign price is published.
