Love's Gas Discount: 10¢ a Gallon on the Free App

Love's Rewards is free, and it takes 10¢ off every gallon of gasoline and up to 25¢ off every gallon of auto diesel. There is nothing to save up and nothing to claim — you scan the app barcode or type your phone number at the pump and the price drops.

That makes Love's one of the simplest programs we cover, and at 10¢ a gallon with no accrual, one of the better free ones. Two states are excluded.

How to sign up

Free. Download the Love's App from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. No membership fee.

At the pump or in store, scan the in-app barcode or enter your phone number.

Love's published a promotional 100 bonus points on your first in-store scan, running through September 30, 2026.

How to stack it

AAA is the one partner stack Love's publishes, and it is a replacement, not an addition. AAA's own Love's benefit page states members "Save $0.13 off every gallon of gasoline" and "$0.20 off every gallon of auto-diesel." Link your AAA membership in the partner section of the Love's app with your name and zip, and the AAA rate applies automatically when you scan.

So a AAA member gets 13¢ on gas instead of 10¢ — not 23¢. No published statement says they add. AAA members also earn 4 points per dollar in store and 8 points per dollar on Love's-branded items. The AAA offer is published as valid through July 2, 2029, and is not valid in Wisconsin or New Jersey.

Nothing is published about cashback apps, general rewards credit cards, or Love's own fleet cards on the retail discount. Treat those as unknown.

The points are a separate thing

Love's runs a second currency that you spend in the store, not at the pump: 100 points equals $1.00. Casual drivers earn 1 point per gallon of gasoline and auto diesel, 2 points per $1 on in-store merchandise, and an extra 2 points per $1 on Love's-branded products, freshly made items and bulk DEF. Professional drivers earn 2 points per $1 in store on the base tier.

Points cannot be earned or spent on tobacco, alcohol, gift cards or lottery products, and cannot be earned on fuel in New Jersey.

Watch-outs

New Jersey and Wisconsin get no fuel offer. Love's publishes the fuel discount as "not available in NJ & WI." That is why Love's says the app fuel discount reaches 40 states while the chain operates in 42.

The diesel number has moved. Love's October 2024 announcement published a 15¢ a gallon auto diesel discount. The current page and the February 2026 relaunch both say up to 25¢. Before planning a long diesel fill around it, check loves.com/promos/gasdiscount.

No gallon cap and no point expiry are published. We checked and found neither rule stated. Absence of a published cap is not a guarantee there isn't one at the pump.

Member price vs. the sign price

Same sign for everyone. Love's describes it as a rollback: "Scan your barcode at the pump to save 10-cents-per-gallon on gasoline every time you fill up."
