Sheetz Gas Discount: My Sheetz Rewardz and the Sheetz Visa

My Sheetz Rewardz is free, and it takes 3¢ off every gallon automatically — no points to save up, no reward to claim. Add the Sheetz Visa and it becomes 10¢, and the app's Offerz promotions regularly run 20¢ a gallon or more on top.

Sheetz is one of the few chains where the everyday discount arrives without any effort at all. You scan, the price drops.

How to sign up

Free. Join in the Sheetz app or register online, and you get a My Sheetz Rewardz card. One detail matters: online registration is specifically required to get the 3¢ a gallon. Picking up a card and never registering it leaves the everyday discount switched off.

At the pump, scan your card or the app before you start.

How to stack it

The Visa and Rewardz are separate programs that combine. Sheetz publishes the arithmetic directly: 7¢ a gallon from the card plus 3¢ from Rewardz equals 10¢ a gallon. New cardholders get a published introductory offer of up to 30¢ a gallon off at Sheetz pumps for the first 30 days when the two are combined.

App Offerz stack with each other. A worked example Sheetz published in September 2026: 20¢ a gallon off all fuel grades except high-flow diesel at 850+ locations, capped at 25 gallons, plus another 20¢ a gallon earnable once a day with the purchase of any made-to-order menu item or specialty drink.

To use an Offer you have to add it under the OFFERZ tab in the app first, then scan your Rewardz at the pump and accept the discount on the pump screen. The price does not drop until you accept.

Sheetz has published nothing about cashback apps. Treat it as unknown.

Watch-outs

Fuel earns no points. Points come from in-store and online purchases at 5 points per $1. Gas, alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, half-gallon and gallon milk, lottery, carwash and gift cards all earn nothing. The 3¢ is your fuel benefit; the points are a separate store currency that can also be redeemed for cents-off fuel rewards.

The Sheetz Visa earns no card rewards on gas. The card pays 5% cash back in store and 1% elsewhere, but gas purchases at Sheetz and at every other service station are explicitly excluded from earning. The 7¢ a gallon is the card's fuel benefit, and that is all of it.

Points expire. Rewards points expire on the last day of the month one year after you earn them, and a card unused for 24 months may be closed.

Tiers exist but are modest. Fan (0–999 points), Friend (1,000) and FREAK (2,500).

Member price vs. the sign price

Sheetz posts one street price. Your 3¢ and any Offerz come off that price at the pump after you scan and accept, so the sign reads the same for everyone.
